AMENITIES & SERVICES
|
|
Rising 20 stories above the waters of Biscayne Bay, the Mandarin Oriental blends an exclusive location on 44-acre Brickell Key with convenient proximity to downtown Miami, just a half-mile away. Outside, the hotel’s curved white facade gives it a passing resemblance to the cruise ships that dock nearby. Inside, multi-story windows and both Asian and Art Deco design elements give its public spaces a similar sense of large-scale grandeur. The spa, for example, is a three-level sanctuary with panoramic waterfront views and an extensive menu of treatments based on Chinese, Ayurvedic, European, and other healing therapies. Guests can choose from a range of treatments such as the Ayurvedic Holistic Body Treatment and the Balinese Synchronized Massage. Outside, a swimming pool with an infinity edge seems to fall off into the sea and a full-service fitness center offers a place to work out before hitting the saunas or steam rooms. The hotel’s private beach boasts Thai-style day beds, swinging hammocks, and private spa cabanas. Beach butlers offer chilled towels and cool-mist sprays, iced drinks, frozen-fruit delicacies, and spa cuisine. The hotel also offers 15,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space decorated with silk wall hangings and rice-paper chandeliers, including a grand ballroom. High-speed Internet access is available in all guest and meeting rooms for a fee.
